Programme of Events
Our 2009 Programme at the Carrigtwohill Medieval Festival and Country Fair in County Cork in Southern Ireland gave everyone a cultural feast of fun! Visitors to this exciting new event had the enriching experience of a traditional Irish festival, offering drama, history, energy, and, above all an open gateway into the living cultures of old traditions and unique country sporting events.
Jousters and falconers, archers and dancers, food and craft stalls, live music and army displays were just some of the features on the line-up of grand and glorious activities at the Medieval Festival & Country Fair on 18th and 19th July last. Set in the magical surroundings of the 15th Century Barryscourt Castle, this exhilarating event incorporated culture and craic and was a truly memorable day out for the whole family.
