Festival Objectives

Carrigtwohill Medieval Festival committee and Carrigtwohill Community Council would like to accounce that unfortunately after 3 great festivals, it is with regret that we have to confirm that there will be no Medieval Festival in 2012.

Following a vote by Carrigtwohill Community Council, it was decided that it would not be held this year. The Organising commitee would sincerely like to that ALL of the volunteers who gave of their time to help with the Festival over the last 3 years. The generosity of each volunteer in giving of their time so readily and so freely embodies that sense of community spirit and is something to be proud of. We would also like to thank the public for coming out in force and visiting/enjoying the festival and for making it all worth while.
Lastly, it would not have been a success without the great demonstrations, by the various war societies, Fingal Living History, exhibitors, and O'Brien family for providing the land,
THANK YOU.
